Milked in Michigan - Made in Michigan

City Girls soap was started in 2011 by John and Amy McIntire. What started as an alternative resource for ice cream for our lactose intolerant daughter, "The Bitty" quickly turned into planning what other products could be made using locally sources goats milk. We went from ice cream to cheese making and continued to develop our product line to consist mainly of goats milk bath and body products.

We currently make small batch goats' milk bath and home products, selling to specialty stores, bath and body stores and retail grocery stores that service the health conscious consumer who shops local and shops Michigan.

In 2014, we added a retail stream to our business selling at Historic Eastern Market on Tuesdays, Sundays and in 2015 moved to Saturdays year round. In June 2014, we moved our production facility and our herd of Oberhasli dairy goats to Goldner Walsh in the Historic District of Pontiac, Michigan.
