The GERMACK Tradition: The GERMACK family began roasting nuts and seeds in Detroit’s Eastern Market in 1924. Over the years, our product lines grew to include dried fruits, chocolates, candies, nut butters, and gourmet gifts. Still located in Eastern Market, and still owned by the GERMACK family, we pride ourselves on producing only the finest, and always the freshest roasted specialty foods.

With the roasting process perfected, in 2012 we launched a full line of fresh, small-batch roasted coffees to complement our specialty roasted nuts and seeds.

Our coffee roastery is open to the public – stop by to enjoy our espresso bar and watch us roast on-site.
