Eastern Market After Dark 2024

Eastern Market After Dark (EMAD) is produced by Design Core Detroit, an economic development nonprofit for creative industries. For the second year in a row, Eastern Market After Dark (EMAD) is presented by Gilbert Family Foundation and in collaboration with other community sponsors. As a signature event of the 14th annual Detroit Month of Design, EMAD showcases an array of talented artists, businesses, organizations, and musicians. Visitors will be treated to a district-wide night market and open-studios featuring: galleries, retailers, brand activations, and live music.

Established in 2012, EMAD has grown to be a highly anticipated part of our yearly programming, drawing over 33,000 attendees annually and highlighting a range of emerging and established designers.
