DESCRIPTION:This event will feature free resources for families\, activities and a dance party with Daniel Tiger! \n\n\n\n\nJoin Detroit PBS for “Be My Neighbor Day” on Wednesday\, August 19\, 2026! \nThis event will be hosted at Eastern Market Shed #3 – 2698 Russell Street\, Detroit\, MI 48207. \nDoors open at 12 PM and close at 3 PM. \nBe My Neighbor Day is supported by PNC Grow Up Great. \nAs we enter the fall season of gratitude\, we ask you to help your neighbors by bringing pairs of socks to donate. Supplies will be distributed to community partners in Detroit to give to families in need. \nFood will be available to purchase from food trucks and restaurants nearby. \nFree parking is available throughout the Eastern Market district. \nEvery person\, regardless of age\, must be registered to attend Be My Neighbor Day. \nSponsorships and vendor tables are available for this event.
