Just as bread dough is shaped by touch, we too are shaped by the relationships and experiences that came before us.

In this class, lead by Sarah Reid, MSW, SSWM, we will explore the ways our inner child has been influenced by early familial relationships with grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and other caregivers who helped form the emotional foundation of who we are today.

Through clinically minded conversation and hands on bread making, attendees will consider how connection, memory, and family influence our sense of self, belonging, and emotional development.

Attendees will make yeast rolls alongside Grandpa James, using a recipe that was passed down to him from his mother and now to us.

As we bake, we’ll share pieces of our childhood, giving us a chance to connect through story and tradition.

Just as bread dough is shaped by touch, we too are shaped by the relationships and experiences that came before us.

Join us for a gentle, creative space to reflect on and learn how those early connections, impacted the person we are today, and consider how they continue to influence the inner child we carry today.
